Requirements and Documentation
- Certificate of residence abroad: This certificate must be issued by the Argentine consulate closest to the city of residence abroad. The minimum residence required is 1 year.
- Packing List: This is a list detailing all the personal effects to be brought into the country. The boxes must be numbered and a brief detail of the contents of each one of them.
- Passport: The migratory movements of the last year must be included. In case you have renewed your passport, you must present both passports (the new one and the previous one). In case you do not have a passport in Argentina, you must present a certificate from Migration, which certifies the entries and exits to and from the country in the last year. Once you enter the Ezeiza airport, you must ask for the legend "traveling with unaccompanied baggage" to be written on the last page of your passport.
- Power of Attorney: This is a letter in which you authorize us to carry out all customs procedures related to the release of your personal effects. It is signed in Argentina, certified by a notary public.
- Personal effects are exempt from any customs duties and taxes.
